If Ewers returns Arch is out. Don't expect Arch to make the Texas mistake again. Wherever he goes it will be to a place that its understood he's the starter. I wouldn't be surprised if a Tulane or Memphis type place ended up with him.

From Archie Manning...

"On the flip side, Archie also highlighted that Eli didn't start at Ole Miss until his junior season and how sitting and learning can be also be best course for his grandson to find success.

“Eli had what I think is the best course. He redshirt his first year, was a backup in his second year, and then started in his third year. I think it’s a big jump.”

I think Arch knew all along there was a chance Ewers would be there for 2 years. at the end of the day, he can sit for 2 years behind a 1st round qb and be physically and mentally ready to be a starter in the SEC for his 3rd year. Money is not an issue so it's not like he's in a rush to get to the NFL. Both Eli and Peyton turned down being 1st round qbs to come back to school so if he has to stay in college for 4 or 5 years I don't think it will be a big deal to him or his family.
