The question was who is the best 1 loss team. Right now it is not Texas.
Agreed- and I think if bama played Texas at Texas right now - they would win.
Bare minimum - they are the most improved 1 loss team in country. They have def progressed since that loss.

Bama will not jump an undefeated team
Bama will not be placed above a team that beat them
His only argument was..."but we're Alabama..."`

Well, they didn't beat Texas when the Dildo Lickers came to T-town.
So your "opinion" means shite
Because teams can't improve or get worse after said game

So, at what point does winning the game not count?
"I think they're better now, so playing the game on the field don't count...duh huh"

Alabama by a lot. Milroe has improved significantly since early in the season. They would beat Texas by two touchdowns on a neutral field right now.
Texas has played vanilla and went 2 weeks without Ewers, granted Murphy was likely the better option against the nickel bc stronger arm is needed for smaller windows. They were up 21-0, 27-7 and 26-6 against Houston/K. State/TCU respectively before taking their foot off the gas.
Objectively speaking, I'm not sure how Alabama can beat Texas on a neutral field. Sanders/Mitchell/Worthy already showed Alabama's secondary can't cover them and Alabama's O-line was unable to move Texas front 7. Milroe has improved, but he's not getting to beat Texas with his arm. He needs help and Texas team is schemed to beat both Alabama and Georgia. Oregon on the other hand might be able to beat Texas due to Nix and their offensive system
