I'm not sure ole' uncredentialed Cabral Opyio of Sportsskeeda and a psych major from the Univeristy of Nairobi is the best source.
It's pure speculation and reads like a long post from a UTx fan on here.
UTx won comfortably, but their backup didn't really play well. Ewers' return was still undetermined. Sark absolutely wanted him to get as many live game snaps as possible as their clear #2 to Ewers.
Manning may absolutely transfer, but he didn't really camp and is 3rd on the depth chart as a true fresh at UTx. He is just as much a gamble for any other team. And, going to a competitive program is just as much a roll of the dice for him. Bama seems a bad choice. Milroe is improving and has 1-2 more years. Simpson is good and still raw and developing with two years in the system. Sayin is inbound as a top QB recruit who actually placed his skills on the line against other top recruits and faired well. Plus, his level of HS competition was quite a but stronger than Mannings.
Don't get me wrong. Arch may be the best among Mannings when it's all said and done, but there is little to place that on one other than name alone.

snubbing him against BYU on Saturday in a game the Longhorns won comfortably

His dad and grandfather wanted him to redshirt given the jump in competition & ridiculous overhype surrounding an 18 year old.
