If we fire Arnett we need a proven HC that fans can be excited about. Whoever it is will have to rebuild the program and will need time. We lose a lot next season and recruiting is not good.

Hiring a young and unproven HC will not only be risky, it will be an uphill battle in recruiting and fans wont be patient due to lack of confidence. Need someone to get excited about and that understands how to utilize to portal to rebuild faster, and someone who gets average talent to play above their heads.

Leipold and Elko fit this mold. I’m worried our fans are falling back into the old MSU mindset of we can’t get a proven HC. Mullen and Leach proved we can get a good coach and keep him several years. Open the wallets up and throw some money at a proven guy

Both would be homerun hires if state could pull them.

From Ole Coach 34 state has some major nil issues. can you pull a coach like that and give them the NIL they would ask for?

People are overlooking what Fritz has done at Tulane.

Got to have good NIL support to attract top talents to go to MSU.
