LSUs defense suuuuuucks and his scrambling windows were much larger
this is true, but he didn't have to be breaking 30 yards for that to be a nightmare to defend. Let me ask you, is it better for milroe to take off if there is nothing open and get 4-10 yards on the regular, or stand back there and get sacked for a loss of 8 every time? Everybody has to plan for this now, gonna make our lives easier on offense

Yea I'd argue that the scrambling windows have been huge all year. He had wide open lanes to run 6-7 times against Texas. Similar against Ole Miss and Arkansas. When those are open to him it's an automatic 15+ yard gain if he puts his foot in the ground.

The only game I remember win which he truly just didn't have any lanes to run was Texas A&M.

Yeah, I've been as critical as anyone about Milroe, but IF he continues to use his legs at the right times, this offense can be effective. It's not going to be the high flying offenses of the Tua, Mac, Bryce years, but it doesn't have to be. He also hit some short passes and dump offs. LSU's defense sucks, but it's been more about his lack of recognition of what's available that has bothered me. It definitely looks like they spent a lot of time teaching and tailoring the offense the last two weeks.

Fine I’ll take the more positive interpretation. Twist my arm
