Did Daniel’s interception cost LSU the game

and the Heisman?
It’s safe to say it cost LSU any chance at a win, but he was never winning the Heisman IMO.
What does the SEC Rant think?

Yes to both, Daniels had a chance. But he really needed to win that game.

Wow what a bold prediction

it is extremely rare to win the Heisman if your team isn't in the playoffs.
The Heisman stopped being about the best player and turned into best QB on a great team. It is what it is, but there isn't much you can do. So even with a win it would be a longshot for him.

If Jayden finishes the season, he should be there at minimum. But when someone else wins because their defense has a pulse it shows you the award has become mostly a team sport award.
Daniels is about as important as a player can be for one of the most dynamic offenses in the country so.

I don’t think it did either. It sealed the game for sure.
The drive before when we had to punt decided the game. That sealed it, but the defense cost the game.
That int shows as an int in the stat sheet, but that was a deflected ball that went straight up into the middle of the defense, more a fluke int than a bad throw int. Once again, JD was carrying his team in his back, despite a piss poor trash defense, just like other games.
In both cases, the defense cost LSU the game and JD’s Heisman shot.

I personally feel the double horse collar by Perkins on 3rd that would have held them to a FG but led to a 1st down and an eventual TD was the backbreaker.

If Washington goes undefeated through the PAC12, Penix will win it.

Perkins finally made a play this season though. Also Milroe was a bit banged up after that horse collar tackle

Fair assessment.

Yea I saw that, glad he is fine, but confused why the refs called that one and not the one on JD that was more violent and led to him being hit in the head area again.
Believe it was Dallas who did it too…
