We are going after Saban. Lowder has a blank check ready. Saban's tenure at bama is one of his longest and i think he is ready to leave

i thought I heard he is getting a bump since he is now the coach in waiting.
imo it was a stupid move by texas to give him that title. I think he will be a good coach but he needs to be seasoned a lil as being the man in charge.

I agree 100% with this. I think it's stupid to handcuff any coordinator with a title in waiting like a FSU with Jimbo or Texas with Muschamp. The guy has never been a head coach and you want to hand him the keys to your ferrari of a program with no HC experience?
Get the F outta here. Now, these schools could be doing this with the intentions of trying to keep said coordinator in place for awhile for contuinuity of the program. I think this practice is wrong as well. I'm sure Texas has a stipulation in the contract that they are not OBLIGATED to give him the job if they don't like performance or some shite like that.
But if they want to be stupid, then i am all for it. That's the same as making 2 position coaches on a team DCs with little to no experience.

It amazed me when we had after 9 games. I thought he would be gone by then for sure.
