Jumping way ahead...
What will this team look like next year? We lose a few on offence but still be solid.
Am I right in thinking most of the D will be gone?

Our backup DBs will plug in fine. We have not developed the young LB or DL talent hence all the transfers. Drink has recruited well on the DL so maybe they make the jump.
Good new DL is usually the easiest place for young talent.
2 SEC level RBs that can share the load would really help too.
I think we make the playoff next year, as long as Cook keeps progressing and he seems like the type that works hard in the off season.

You answered my other question, which was is this a one and done season or does it have legs.
Making the playoffs would be fun. If they can finish strong the momentum heading into next year will be amazing.

Id like to see a bunch on transfers on the DL side, and if the season finishes up like we hope, I dont think it will be too hard to get solid replacements in.
Offense only needs 3 starting OL and a starting RB. Thats all. I really think we can have a T10 offense next year.

I really think we need 2 RBs. Only because when we try ball control and clock management we bog down. It would be good to show a defense a couple of RBs with different styles, speed etc just to be more successful.
Or just do like the old Baylor teams under Briles and never stop scoring with your WRs. Put up 60 on everyone. But Drink doesn't seem to be that type of coach.

2 would be great, but we can get by with 1. We've seen the usage of just one RB a few times the last couple of years.
Next year will be even more pass happy, so perhaps even less running plays.

We need a lethal pass catching back with breakaway speed to really augment this offense.

Seems to be a pattern with Drink.

The dream of almost every HC and OC in the country, high school, college, and NFL. Does Marshall Faulk have any eligibility left?
