The can't come to terms that without EVERY SINGLE CONFERENCE having a 2 loss team, they have no shot. It's why the committee put them where they did.

Ole Miss basically ended their season as far as the CFP. Now, LSU fans wont care if they beat Bama. As like last year, it doesn't matter that they lose 4 games because Bama is their Super Bowl and other losses simply don't matter. The worst part is they don't care about beating Bama, they care about beating Saban. Period. Now, The committee doesn't care that you played FSU to open the season, they only care if you beat FSU to open the season and LSU got smoked. The CFP committee only cares about record. Not SOS. If they did then Cincy, TCU and ND would have never sniffed a CFP spot.
There are 2 teams that have a chance at the CFP and none reside in Baton Rouge. Period.

To be fair, I would be thrilled with a 10-2 season and another appearance in the SEC title.

shite is changing next year anyway.

College football takes the lowest % of the field of any sport on any level to compete in postseason for a title as is.

More than 50% of the NBA and NHL make the playoffs 43% of NFL, 40% of MLB.

18% of College basketball and a whopping 3% of College Football teams

Bama still thinking they are elite. There is one team in the conference that is elite and that is Georgia. They are making steady improvement and Bama is not on their level. Decimated secondary that wasn’t very good in the first place keeps LSU from being elite, despite having the best offense in the country.
