My thoughts on this, if sign stealing helps a ton in winning games, then most SEC programs would be (or are) doing it. If they aren't, it tells you how much it's worth. Basically, the SEC programs have already vetting most forms of cheating and have a good idea of what works and what isn't worth the effort.

They first put communication in helmets in the NFL in 1994. That’s 29 years ago.

And yet we still do not have it in NCAA division 1.

The reason? It’s not cost. Come on.

It’s because coaches want there to be signals to steal. Plain and simple. They’re willing to signal in plays, because they believe they can be better at sign stealing.
