no lsu fan ever has said we were a bigger rival to yall than auburn or UT....but if we arent a rival then why do yall sing about us every damn home game? Why are we included in the song along with those two?

you can have more than 1 and even more than 2 rivals.

Let me say a very rationale post by a fellow LSU fan. I have said for years, including in this post that Alabama's top 2 rivals are Auburn and TENN. I stand by that. LSU though it can be said based on the evidence (which you cite) be lets say Bama's 3rd biggest game on their schedule year end and year out (since they have played Auburn/TENN/LSU every year since I think 1964).

The only School I think that LSU is a top rival is for Ole Miss (Miss State/LSU).

Texas A&M may have us 2nd behind Texas (perhaps, I don't know maybe its Arkansas). So lets say top 3 games.

Florida for example I would say after UGA/FSU LSU would be perhaps their 3rd biggest game.

Since the SEC went to divisions in 1992, I would say after Bama/UGA the LSU game is/was Auburn's(not playing next year) 3rd biggest yearly game.

So what does this all suggest, there is no school that a significant majority (or even simple majority) of LSU fans think is LSU's rival. Older fans its Ole Miss, for fans of the last 20-25 years, it can be Auburn, Alabama, Florida.

For fans of LSU that live in Houston (lots of LSU alums there) Texas A&M is 1st.

So for rationale non LSU fans, I think when the term Rival is being used by an LSU fan, the context I describe above should be considered.

So while LSU is not, other than Ole Miss and perhaps Aggie, the top 2 rival games, I think we are a hell of lots schools that we play in their top 3 most important games regardless of what the hell you want to call that 3rd game.

Peace and 70's rock n roll to everybody and a God Bless as well.
