Yeah. The subject was great defenders in college who aren't tall. Try to keep up.

And for the record I've never said that Griff was irreplaceable. I simply said he was an elite college defender. Which he is. That's it. Then these "Well, ackshually Griff was the lowest rated defender on BAMA's team" posters get on here and beclown themselves because they're butthurt about anyone that transfers.
Griff was a great player for BAMA. He was a 2nd year player and the best defender on a FF team. If that makes you mad, that's your problem. Doesn't it stop it from being a fact, though.

Look man just bc you keep saying it doesnt make it true. He averaged 0.5 steals per game and 0.3 blocks per game. That puts him so far down the list of NCAA players that i couldnt even find him in the top 1000. Sears, estrada, and wrightsell were all ahead of him.

Face it man, you're hero was just a cone on defense. We had one of the worst defenses in the whole country. How many times did we give up 100 points? Add in that he talks shite on the team and he never won the hard hat. We dont need him.

And Kemba was never a great defender even in college. Trying does not equate to being a great defender. There are so many good examples of great defenders who were shorter and you chose horrible examples. You could have gone Jevon Carter, Aaron Craft or even went with a different mainstream guy like Chris Paul, but no you chose guys with either good positional length or who were volume scorers that were defensive liabilities at times. Not one of those 3 guards had any defensive accolades, nor were they close to getting them.
