It shocks the hell out of me that it hasn't decimated the mid majors. They are straight up farm teams for big transfer payouts to power 5s now... Yet going by this tournament, they are still giving everybody hell

I think it is partly because the rosters for cbb are so much smaller. A school can only raid so much; a school can only be raided so much. If you have a good program built on development, you've probably got another guard or big man in the wings that you found as a diamond in the rough.
