What the hell is his deal? Is it between the ears? How can fundamentals of snapping the ball be such an issue?

That's like saying you have a hard time tying your shoes.

Is it coaching?

Jeez

At one point 4 of his 5 snaps were off. I think we were up 24-20 and driving. Only exasperates the issues Milroe has

I think he is worse than he was last year or when he played in 2021.

At this point rather Dalcourt at C. Seth’s snaps have always been off but now he’s also not blocking well either. Dalcourt can at least snap ok

According to PFF grades SoG posted he’s doing horrible. It’s not just the bad snaps (which throw Milroe off). Our OGs are doing ok and Latham’s great but Seth and our 2 LTs are bringing the whole OL down

Really? I sort of remember most on here wanting him to be "the guy" (myself included) because we thought he was better than Dalcourt.

Honestly the way we switch groupings now, these last couple of years have been pretty confusing regarding individual OL performances.

Yeah he’s always had snapping problems but it’s gotten worse. People wanted him over DD because DD was mediocre at best meanwhile Seth was a pretty good run blocker and a better pass blocker too. His only issue was snapping which could’ve been the reason why he had a hard time securing the spot over DD

Eric Wolford needs to find another place to coach.

Rank Saban's centers at Alabama:

Antoine Caldwell
William Vlachos
Barrett Jones
Ryan Kelly
Ross Pierschbacher
Bradley Bozeman
Landon Dickerson.

Several All-SEC players. Some All-Americans. Some first or second round draft picks. All signed NFL contracts. 3 current NFL starters. Doesn't matter how you rank them...

Just be sure to put Seth waaayyyyy down here.

I don't think I'd like seeing Dalcourt back on the field unless it was an emergency situation.

The snap issues seemed to be the least noticeable against UT than any of the other games. Maybe Jalen is just getting used to it.

You are right and wrong on different aspects.
Right we all were wondering why CNS didnt have him instead of Dalcourt since his blocking was excellent

If you go back and read old threads it was also mentioned in 2021 that he had snapping inconsistencies

The sad thing is, he's the best at what we've got right now. Dalcourt is worse. And the only one left is James Brockermeyer, who has played very little.

Gonna be REALLY interesting in the Spring as to who earns the starting center spot. My guess is Brockermeyer but either CNS finds one in the portal or maybe convert one of the current guards into centers.

You left out Dalcourt, who is the worst OL in the first 7 since he’s been here.

My guess…he’s a meathead.
