Can we just consolidate everything here? That way we don't clog up on the rest of the board for the next 2 weeks with endless Alabama threads from my fellow damaged and deranged LSU fans.

I'll start.
When are we going to start treating this like just another rivalry game? Ya'll really don't understand what happens here I see.
The obsession with Alabama bleeds from the fanbase down into the program. We put this game on such a ridiculous pedestal that it creates unnecessary pressure.
We are never going to catch them in the annual series. We are never going to pass them in any meaningful category. Just get the hell over it guys.
The team always goes into a post Alabama hangover. Even last year after we beat them. We sucked after that game. Quite frankly I'm getting tired of that.
Until you guys put your big boy pants on and stop with the little brother energy, the same shite will just keep happening.
But go ahead LSU fans. Downvote me into oblivion. You guys will never learn...

We sure had fun this summer at the SEC officials picnic on the Quad. The Taylor Swift show was awesome! I hope everyone is still enjoying their Mercedes.

We view ourselves as more in the same class as Alabama than Auburn or A&M so no we’re never going to just accept our place sorry. What’s happened in the past doesn’t define what will happen in the future. Nice little head pat though, douche.

Sorry. Plus LSU fans are fun to party with (excluding most of the retards on this forum of course) and I respect their program for the most part.

The thing is, I don't even care about where we rank in anything. The rest of the fanbase does. I have seen plenty of success and am very proud of it.
My issue is the post Alabama hangover. We are gonna end up losing to Florida and/or Aggie again even if we beat Bama.

How often has this happened since Les was the coach? 2021 when O was a lame duck is the only one I can think of.
You’re overthinking this. Les definitely fell into the trap you’re describing but that hasn’t been a thing in awhile.

I guess it was far more common under Les.
However, just last year, we would have lost to Arkansas if Jefferson played. And we did lose to 5-7 Aggie.
