Poor Ben Obomanu. One our best all time receivers but he dropped a TD pass that hit him right in the hands to win that ‘03 game

Lube up Rebel Black Bear Land Sharks cause your biannual JH VooDoo arse whipping will commence at 630 CST tomorrow. Lanes play calling on the road vs Bama was trash expect the same in JH. Never forget YAOM!

Damn Hugh already got y’all beaten down this bad?
We're in the middle of a rebuild. I'm annoyed with the product on the field (more so because it's boring) but I'm not really depressed about the state of the program.

Alternatively, if we won it would presumably show progress, but it wouldn't generate excitement on the level as would a win over Bama/UGA/LSU/A&M
The scale of excitement for me for when we beat each opponent ranked in order:
1. Bama
2. Georgia
—- Big gap—-
3. LSU
—- Big gap—-
4. Florida
5. Texas A&M
6. Tennessee
7. Arkansas
8. Ole Miss
— Big gap—-
Everyone else
This is also a ranking of how frenzied Jordan-Hare gets in terms of noise yet somehow Ole Miss has struggled there.

Yeah that's about right.
A few years ago our signature win was a win over a ranked (I think) Ole Miss and it was pretty lackluster. Not trying to be rude, it's just the state of modern CFB.
When I was a kid I felt like any SEC game was a fairly big deal, but now I think for most teams it's rivals+highly ranked/historic programs and everything else is just trying to get the win and move on. I preferred it when it felt like Auburn-Ole Miss or Auburn-MSU was a game with more pageantry, but maybe it had more to do with being a kid than it did the era.

We're just not very good, and you're decent, so OM will probably win. Alternatively, if we won it would presumably show progress, but it wouldn't generate excitement on the level as would a win over Bama/UGA/LSU/A&M. Hence, the relatively low investment from our side.
shite and I thought we were gonna be able to troll more then you come up with facts.
