In great position right now to win the West. I’ll take it. Playing at home is gigantic in the SEC. UK and Auburn on the road doesn’t look as daunting.

Goes to show why home/away scheduling is so important for teams. If the 2022 team had their home and away games flipped to what the 2023 team has now they would have gone 12-0. If this year’s team had the 2022 team’s home and away schedule then we’d probably be in trouble.

If only playing at home were a terrific advantage for the Tide. As it is, it simply looks like it nullifies playing away - but our noise never seems to upset other teams. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't remember watching other teams with pre-snap penalties because of the environment. Nope, this season, we just keep doing it. Hell, we may even have more penalties at home...

Oh well, maybe it just comes with the territory.

Bama fans (like you've been there please)...

LSU

I want to see it like this again... lol.

Defense is gonna have to win it for us. We need turnovers, sacks, TFLs, all of it.

One game at a time, and I wouldn’t piss on a fricking vol if they were on fire. RMFT

Not to downplay UT/LSU, but UK on the road worries me.

This is the type of game that Stoops could get his team sky high for and could sneak out a win. (Become only the 3rd team in UK history to beat Bama) I don't like where this game falls with how Jekyll and Hyde Bama can be.

After the team takes care Tennessee and LSU, you might start feeling sorry for UK.

Even in a "down" year teams (coaches) can make/save their seasons by beating Bama. Like you alluded to, Kentucky is 2-38 against Alabama. Beating Bama would be almost as good as winning a championship for them, field-rushing event, etc. Bama better be up for it, because Bama is certainly not good enough to beat Kentucky on the road with a C+ type performance this year.

Those two field rushing pictures in the OP made me think - when is the last time Bama lost on the road and the fans DIDN'T rush the field?

2022 - UT and LSU rushed the field
2021 - A&M rushed the field
2020- N/A
2019 - Auburn rushed the field
2018 - N/A
2017 - Auburn rushed the field
2016 - N/A
2015 - N/A
2014 - Ole Miss rushed the field
2013 - Auburn rushed the field
2012 - N/A
2011 - N/A
2010 - South Caroline did NOT rush the field after beating #1 Alabama. Pretty surprising actually. LSU did not rush the field either I don't think.

So it's been since 2010 I guess.

We better make UT and LSU hostile environments. Get off our asses and bring it all game. Whatever sense of entitlement, "act like you've been there before" mindset some fans may have should be GONE. We lost to these two teams last year and the insane road environments had A LOT to do with it. These teams are right there with Bama in terms of ability on the field this year. The crowd needs to be a difference maker.

Don’t know why there’s conversation on LSU and Kentucky 2 days before TSIO. We need to focus on this game. Regardless, we can lose this game and still control our own destiny, which for me is winning the SEC.

We’ll be loud, just remember rocky block. And that was before the stadium expansion!

Guy I knew that played for Bear Bryant told me one time in Neyland someone from the stands threw a handle of whiskey at his head… they are who they are, we know. But most of all, we got class and we gonna show em! Rammer Jammer Yellow hammer fellas.

It’s poetic Justice. UGA beat us in 2021 because Jamo and Metchie got hurt and we beat them in 2023 because Bowers got hurt

I may be talking about LSU and Kentucky but, trust me, that is NOT taking my attention away from breaking down Vol game film and putting the game plan together and practicing for TSIO. I will be ready.

If it's your destiny you can't control it and if you can control it it's not destiny.

I’ve grown to love how you can spot a lifelong Bama fan by how they get about the Vols. Never forgive, never forgot. These bastards tried to end our program but look what it got them.
