Which rivalry do you care more about? Oklahoma or Texas ATM

They are completely different.

One is against family, friends, co-workers and bragging rights. The games haven’t historically meant a whole lot, but you never want to lose. It’s more good natured ribbing.. water cooler talk..

The other is just fricking awesome. You know you are going to get your arse locked sometimes, but it’s a fricking battle. It’s doesn’t matter how good your team is, or what your record is, or what your ranked.. you want to skull frick every single one of them and bury them alive. It’s intense hatred at the fair. You don’t get that on here because most of us don’t know many of the other fans.

Idk if that makes sense.

If I had to pick one.. I’m always going to be Oklahoma. That doesn’t mean that A&M isn’t as important.. it is.. it’s just different.

I would choose to play both forever.

This is good shite, what makes regional football religion for the faithful. Feeds the soul.

BigBro....your description of the two rivalries of Texas with A&M and OU sorta mirrors exactly how USC views Notre Dame and UCLA.

Traditionally, Notre Dame is USC's biggest and most hated rival; yet UCLA, being cross-town, is like a family feud, in-house type fight.

Notre Dame is all-out war in every aspect -- the schools themselves, the fight songs, the marching bands, the number of national titles won (both tied at 11 each), Heisman winners, and overall tradition. It's a respectful hate, but it's for all the marbles and bragging rights each year.

Georgia/Florida

Your post is exactly what makes college football awesome, and it's exactly what TV people are trying to kill off.

I feel that way as an LSU fan towards everyone else. Too bad our defense is the one being skull-fricked.
