The fact is that the two schools miss each other but won’t admit it. At Texas losing to OU doesn’t get you canned. Losing to A&M does. There is an entire thread on TexAgs for horn tears, and it is an annual tradition. It is renewed every year.
I expect the annual game to turn incredibly toxic right away. The way it should be. As much as I don’t like LSU, they aren’t natural rivals.

They have another thread called "Tell me about ou" (Yes, they put it in lower case just like we do tu) that only has 2.2k responses. Who is living rent free in who's head?
Admittedly, there is also a thread on TexAgs called "Horn Meltdown" that has over 7k responses since it was re-started in February.
Of course, we are not the one's denying who our biggest rival is.
