A literal coin flip would settle that
If ole miss wins the west on a coin flip for the last possible sec west championship I’ll shite my pants laughing
Ole Miss would likely win in that scenario.
Eventually it comes down to overall ranking. Used to be BCS, now it's the CFP ranking.
And in that scenario Bama and A&M would be 10-2 overall and OM would be 11-1... and likely ranked higher.

Rebs are not in a good spot at this point in time, because Alabama has to lose two no matter what. Alabama is in the drivers seat, again. If they win this weekend, they are all but assured of winning the West. A&M isn't going to win out. LSU will drop another, possibly as early as this weekend. Everyone else already eliminated ...

I’m starting to think Bama found their stride. Time will tell, but they could be on the up and up.
They look to me like they have found their identity. They are gaining confidence and look like they're starting to get an attitude. If they keep progressing, this could be one of the most satisfying seasons I've experienced as a Bama fan considering how they started and where they could possibly finish.

Oh cause the line is what determines how good teams are?

Yes, because their margin for error is pretty low and our schedule isn't super friendly (@ A&M, Tennessee, LSU, @ Kentucky, @ Auburn).

I’m not sold that Bama has figured anything out and I’m not sure why anyone else would be.
State is just dreadful this year. Ask LSU’s defense. After getting exposed by Florida State in the opener and then having a sketchy performance against Grambling (as much as one can have a sketchy performance against Grambling), LSU’s defense held State to 14 points in a dominant win and we all thought we were settled. Then we gave up 84 points in the next two SEC games…
I do think if Bama handles business against A&M that they’ll be in good shape to win the West, and they certainly could. But I don’t see why it would be assumed they will handle business just because they rebounded against probably the worst team in the conference.

I'm not sold we've figured things out, but we've played 6 straight solid quarters of offensive football. Not perfect, but solid. The defense has been very good for all but 1 quarter (4th vs Texas) of the entire season.
We'll find out Saturday how much is real and how much isn't, I think. Especially on offense.

They still don't have a QB. I opened up the box score on Saturday, expecting big numbers given the final score, and had to chuckle a bit.
Milroe: 10/12 for 164yds 0TD. He rushed for 69yds and 2 TDs.

Generally when you throw it for 13.7 yards per attempt, complete 83% of your passes and do it without any turnovers, you've done a pretty good job.
Of all fanbases I would think that Georgia fans would recognize a low attempt, high efficiency day at the office for a QB in a road blowout.

Traditionally Bama doesn’t win with some spectacular QB. Jalen Hurts was their first.

With how we’re looking on defense, I’m not confident about playing y’all. Sure, we can score, but we aren’t hanging 50 on Bama.

Who did Vegas have favored this past weekend in Oxford? I can't remember

I expect to be on the edge of my seat as usual. It will be interesting to see how Bama's defense stacks up against y'all's offense.

Same. These games are very rarely blowouts. It’ll be another game down to the wire.
