no, the high school fired him after national media found out they’d hired briles. Nobody in the local community cared but once ESPN and the like got wind of it they made it a big deal even though he coached there for a couple years without issue. Other than maybe recruiting a few kids to the area but that’s nothing out of the ordinary in high school sports
