When there are 3 defenders in the area and you are describing the 1 spot the defender isnt... then it is a good throw.

QBs turn around receivers all of the time.
If the receiver is running an out, turning him around changes his momentum to cut upfield (as opposed to carrying his momentum out of bounds).

If a receiver is running into a defenders zone(like Bowers was), the QB can protect his by changing his momentum for the catch.

Sell yourself all ya like, but everyone here knows Beck hasn’t been very accurate in general, including you. He’s got 8 deep pass attempts and only 2 have been catchable. And he’s also missed some very standard medium throws, been below average at leading receivers so they could get YAC, and even hung a few receivers out to get crushed.

And this isn’t some BS opinion or even criticism, it’s just facts we all saw with our own eyes.

So while it would be nice to believe he planned his placement on those throws as if he purposely intended or knew Bowers would be able to turn and catch them with one hand, nobody truly believes it that isn’t lying to themselves.

I really want Beck to succeed. I want my Dawgs to smoke everyone and 3-pete. So I hate that I’m seeing what I’m seeing and feel like we’re in trouble when we play a good team.
