Will Muss always have a team that looks like shite for half the season, and then they start to look good? Why is that? Why don't other coaches fight the same battle?

I'm thankful for Muss and he has stopped us from wandering aimlessly in the desert, but watching terrible basketball for half the season is frustrating.

IMO it has to do with large roster turnovers, new roles for transfers, and lack of time playing together to gel.

This roster is full of guys who were scorers at the previous school outside of Mark. It's not a surprise Mark is the only consistent defender as that was his role at Houston. The rest were on the court to make baskets not prevent them at their previous schools.

As long as he uses the portal each year to build a new team, probably not.

He needs to start developing some players and keep them around. I know that is hard to do but having new faces each year doesn't always lead to successful seasons.
