For cause.
Has there ever been a more obvious attempt to get out of paying a ridiculous contract that never should have been given to begin with? Tucker may need to be fired...but so should anyone that had anything to do with giving him a $9.5 million a year contract.
Better watch out Jimbo.

Jimbo has surrounded himself with men who would never condone Sexual Harassment. He will be fine.

Some great takes in 2021 on this board about how LSU isn't smart enough to hire Mel Tucker as its head coach.

They need to fire the AD that gave him that contract to start with.

I can't tell who's dumber. MSU for giving him that giant contract or him for screwing around with a sexual assault awareness consultant.

Easy for-cause firing. That said - if MSU were doing well, they'd figure out a way to let it go.

I thought it happened a couple of weeks ago? In any event, brilliant move by MSU

Well Tennessee did burn down the house from the inside out to get rid of Pruitt.

I agree that contract was ridiculous. But no coach at Michigan State is likely to be able to overcome the advantages of Michigan and Ohio State. I hate conspiracy theories in general, but I wouldn't be shocked if the board there set him up to be fired.
