The question Saban often should have asked BoB.

He should take a time out everytime Rees puts us in Gun at the one and tell him "We're not doing that". I mean he has the final say doesn't he?

Which is what I don't understand as I assumed he hires coaches like Rees and Golding because they're beta "yes men" who can easily be dictated with no pushback - especially if Grubb wanted to change the offense and Saban told him no. So Washington's offense is lighting defenses up while we can't even break 30 on an Ole Miss or USF defense.

I look at BOB and Tommy Rees and can't come to any other logical conclusion as to why they were hired.

Bama has gone under center in short yardage before. Against MTSU they went under center on the second drive when it was 3rd and short. Milroe ran a sneak and got the first down.

Man. There is so much to unpack here.

1. Saban has total control on play calling as he is HC.
2. If I remember correctly BoB said that he had to use Sark elements and never fully installed his offense.
3. Now a 30 year old can implement his total offense without pushback from CNS

Something whacky

I mean, on 4th and less than a yard, how much offense do you have to install to put the QB under center and QB sneak with almost 800 pounds of large humans pushing the pile? You and I can draw that up during a timeout.

I don’t disagree with your sentiment here but let’s not act like Washington has been playing against good defenses. TCU looked really good on offense last year too until they played a defense with a pulse.

He's the head coach. Once he saw we had the ball at the one, the first thing out of his mouth should have been "Get under center, Tommy."

the Washington Huskies are legit and that offense is fun to watch. NFL players at all skill positions and Michael Penix is a great QB. Still remember him running for his life against Ohio State and dropping 500 yards and 5 touchdowns against a really talented defense.

So. Are you the want to be coaches who never played the game but watch a lot of football want to fire THE GOAT SABAN? Grow up every coach in the country makes mistakes every weekend.
Appreciate where we are and have been. Instead you are like
the idiot that was behind me Saturday drinking beer and cussing the coaches including SABAN with the F word plus God's name in vain the whole game.

You guys think they dont practice goal line offense during the week? Saban knows what we are going to run. Ive heard Cublic talk about it. He says its not as easy as you think if you dont practice it. And these QBs today, they dont run it in high school.
