Yes he is right, but don't tell some of the folks on this board. I could call out names, but we know who they are. Our Talent is not there. The potato famine happened.

The model is what Mike Norvell is doing at FSU. They hired a good coach who can recruit coming off of a bad coach who couldn’t (sound familiar?) and they let the guy do his thing. They went 3-6 in ‘20, 5-7 in ‘21, 10-3 last year, and they are currently 4-0. That’s the model.

He also says he doesnt feel that the uga game has any hatred behind it like the iron bowl does

And don’t give me that UGA did in two years crap as a comp. They had huge talent available and were consistently a 9 win tm under Richt

Yes, this past offseason was arguably the talent/roster nadir of the modern AU era

We need more talent at the QB, WR, DL and LB currently. Would be nice to see more on the OL as well. Cant get enough linemen

Would not surprise me if he felt this way. Same for Gus. Gus always seemed to treat te Iron Bowl like a pedestal game while Georgia might as well have been Miss State game.
Freeze needs to get out of that mindset.

In the full presser link he pointed at that Ashford had two nice deep balls but the receivers ran the wrong route.

I agree to whoever said Norvell was the model. It wasnt easy for Norvell and FSU though. He lost to JSU and many fans wanted him gone. His recruiting kept him in it and ultimately weathered the storm fine.
As long as Hugh is improving and recruiting he is safe. Upward trajectory. Harsin never did what he needed to do and that is why he did not have a long leash. Hugh has to understand our expectations is why he is here. He can call them ridiculous or whatever but they are what they are and they justify his job here.

He only had one that I remember. The other was a perfect back shoulder that JJ dropped and the one to Hooks in the end zone that bounced off his chest.

Yes. If Haskins cared anything about recruiting, he’d still be the HC.
