I feel like that would improve our Line tremendously. Idk if Booker can play LT but he would definitely be an upgrade over Proctor in Pass Pro right now

Proctor needs to take over at RG. And help pack Dalincourts locker up and set it the parking lot. Then Try Ferguson at LT

Wasn’t Booker fighting back spasms against USF?

He might need to sit for awhile completely.

In theory yes he was a borderline OT out of HS but seemed like he was more suited to OG based on body type.

Fully healthy he is a better option at OT than proctor, but now you are downgrading OG and throwing a lot of changes into the OL. Not ideal obviously but given the nonfunctional state of things Saturday it might be necessary if Pritchett still looks like he did at A-Day.

It might be better to move Proctor to right RG and Pritchett to LT. Latham helps Proctor with assignments and Booker helps Pritchett with assignments. Seth would need Booker next to him as an anchor/help with Proctor in a steep learning curve.

It would likely take a few weeks to get Proctor up to speed with the possition change as he is still learning the LT job and has not been doing prep inside.

Once Proctor was up to speed it should make for a strong run push

Pritchett to LT.

Didn't he get absolutely dominated at left tackle at A-Day?

yes, pretty much. The real issue is we do not have anyone ready to take the LT spot. Whoever ie the guy in that spot will need TE help on anything beyond a very quick throw.

So why not move Latham to left tackle and Proctor/Whoever to righ tackle? I mean I don't know a whole lot about o-line play but if Proctor is going to do a matador impression wouldn't it be better if it wasn't on the QB's blind side?

The scuttlebutt I have gathered from other sites is that he was promised the LT position, not so much as a freshman but as his position at Bama.
Evidently he is the best we have at the moment hence he is playing.

What sucks is that we probably won’t make any changes to the offensive line unless they’re necessary due to injury or some other reason that a lineman would be out.

If he’s still the best option at LT after what he’s shown through three games we are unequivocally fricked.
