An inside story about Chubb's knee injury back in 2015

I was a fitness trainer in a gym back when Chubb blew his knee out at UGA in 2015. One of my personal training clients was a UGA student and she was dating one of the football team trainers. She was there in the locker room when they carted him off the field that day. She said the med assistants said it was the worst football knee injury they had ever seen. She said it looked so bad it nearly made her throw up. But she said he told them all that no matter how bad it was, 'I'll be back'.
I guess I figured I'd throw that out there to maybe give everyone a silver lining to his current injury. That injury back then was pretty bad. He's a tough kid and if anyone can come back from this thing, he probably can. Prayers for him...

Did she work for the team too? I know this isn't part of the story but it seems a bit odd that the girlfriend of a trainer would be allowed to hang out in the locker room while the game is going on.

As a matter of fact, I think she did tell me she did something for the team. Can't remember exactly what it was. But, I don't think she was lying to me.

This is worse than olddawginCA's story about the Allman Brothers.

Huh? Gees man, I was just throwing out a story that I was told that I thought might lift everyone's Spirits about one of our beloved UGA legends. What exactly do you think my intentions are here?

Now he's upvoting his own posts.

Hey guy, are you drunk? I thought this was a UGA board where adult UGA fans talk to one another. I started a thread about UGA, for UGA fans. That's what I thought we all are here. You are treating this like the non-sense on the 'Rant' board...why? I didn't say anything attacking UGA, it was meant to be uplifting. What is your problem?

I apologize, and yes I have been drinking. Go dawgs.

There I was walking through Piedmont park thinking to myself, what ever happened to Nick Chubb? Then outta no where I see Nick Chubb laying there injured.

I seriously don't believe that Chubb will ever play football again. It's one thing to be 18, in college, and recover from a severe injury. It's another to be 27, in the pros, and do it.
I hope he can walk again without lots of pain, but I believe that his football career's done.

I have received new correspondence from Bob/Bill from their new email address.

He stopped rather suddenly. Craned his gaunt head slowly to the left, and then slowly back to the right, paused, and said…
“Hey. Where did the aborted baby knee go?”

Amen... Nick needs to get himself well and IMO do his thing in Chubb Town and/or Cedartown Ga or spend his millions anyway he wants. 27 with two major knee blowouts is brutal...

But, if its in his DNA to attempt another comeback, I'll be one of his biggest supporters...

yah, he's probably done. He's mid 20's. He already has made good money from his contract. I know Chubb wants to play football again but I can't imagine the comeback from a 2nd major knee injury to the same knee. I never had any knee injuries and I'm 51 and my knees hurt.

Unfortunately, this one looked a lot worse than the one in Knoxville.
