Gotta' be honest, I like it whenever the narratives fall apart. And at the time, when Mel Tucker was hired, ESPN and FOX and every other news agency was all about selling the story about how not hiring Mel Tucker would be the greatest crime since Martin Luther King Junior took a sniper bullet.

Yet - none of those same news agencies now will admit to pressing Michigan State into hiring Mel Tucker. And that's fine by me too. Michigan State thought they'd get some kind of bonus - some kind of push - by making the approved affirmative action hire.

Sow the wind. Reap the whirlwind.
