Defense is disappointing

I didn't stress as much as some about the qb because I thought the defense would be much better.
No pressure on the qb, got gashed in the run game and Caleb downs got exposed tonight even though he's a phenomenal talent. Arnold just grab and held all night.

I thought they played well until the 3rd and they just started getting gashed everywhere.

Wrong. Our defense showed up tonight.

Pressure was a problem but they played great through three quarters.

Our defense played fine. Held them to 13 and finally saw our offense just couldn’t get anything going. They got tired. You can only do that so long. This is all on the offense

They played well against the run and the secondary was okay in the first half, but at no point in the game was there a pass rush.

Defense is not the problem. I thought they played well considering we couldn't hold on to the ball for more than 3 minutes at a time

Defense looked good, 4th quarter was compounding factors. Going into the 4th UT had 13 points. Typically if a team has 13 points we are beating them soundly and closing out the game.
The Int that Milroe threw that gave them the ball on the 5 was a game killer. On top of that the D had been carrying the team so long they started to break down. Sark is a genius when it comes to scheming and mismatches as well. He stayed away from Koolaid all night and attacked the young guys. It all adds up when you have an offense that can't generate anything because of a QB that is such a huge liability.

Last year’s defense probably would’ve allowed at least three more scores because Golding would have safeties blitzing from 20 yards behind the LOS.

Caleb Downs was also our leading tackler along with Trezman Marshall with 10 tackles.
