While Nixon and Asante seemed to be the best LBs in the game.....go back and look who was playing DT for much of their gametime....Rogers.

He said Rogers is very good at holding off the OL from getting to their secondary blocks on the LBs.

While that’s true, I saw other LBs just flat out running themselves out of position.

Oh I agree a lot. And as the coach said, 15 times they aligned them wrong to begin with, combine the two and its no wonder the defense suffered.

Go watch that one long touchdown run. They have two or three wide receivers blocking on a sweep, our defender has taken them on, up to the sideline so the play is turned away from it (just like you are supposed to do) J D Rhym (I think it was) comes flying up and goes between, between our guy and the sideline straight into the other receivers.....and the running back just takes the inside to the house. The friggin play was already turned, the running back could not go outside, what were you thinking?

Cam Riley has really disappointed me. Dude has all the tools. He’s big and fast. He just seems lost out there most of the time.

LB play was definitely disappointing. Hopefully things can get cleaned up.

Cole made a thread about him before the season started. Maybe 2 weeks ago. He said that we needed to keep an eye on him and he was right.
