You were complaining about deep throws. I gave you stats of one of the best. Tell me how i was arguing Brady is Mahomes. All i’m saying is Mizzou fans need to back off the kid and support him. He played his arse off with one good arm last year and still got to a bowl game. Should we be better? Absolutely. Is he to blame for last year? No. Simple as that.

fricking joke to even mention Mahommes here. He did not throw deep because every team covers the deep routes NOT because Mahommes cannot throw deep. Cook’s inability downfield will cost this team. 8 in the box all day if I am DC vs Mizzou. Even worse he has 2 MORE years. fricking Cam Newton could not beat him out in Drink’s eyes.

Listen Brady Cook Sr.

It's the intangibles. Cook threw two balls into double coverage against an FCS secondary. Against SEC, those are possible pick 6s ...

And he did that all last year. He'd stare down his primary, have at least one guy running a post wide open if he could throw to a spot ... but instead constantly checked down to a RB or his safety receiver ... or he'd overthrow or completely miss the post with his weak, inaccurate arm ...

We would have beat GA last year with a competent QB but mustered 4 FGs instead of TDs.

He is what he is. I saw glimpses of him at least going through his progressions on Saturday ... but besides the post for the TD, he checked down almost every other play.

There's a reason his only offer besides ODumb was Austin Peay, an FCS school. His arm is average, his legs are above average for HS and his heart/grit are solid. But he isn't an SEC QB and that will become very clear in week 3 against an average BIG 12 team ...

I'll eat crow if I'm wrong but only way we win games this year is on the OL and defense.

Everyone seems clear on whose fault it is. It isn’t the kid giving 110% on the field.
