Passed away yesterday (Friday) from an undisclosed health issue he had been dealing with since 2022.
He was 76.

Sad day in Margaritaville. He’s been in “not great health” for a while. Even back when he was flying the “Hemisphere Dancer” Grumman Albatross (now a bar at Citywalk Universal Orlando) around as told in “A Pirate Looks at 50,” our Citation was always following with a nurse onboard full time.

I hate to hear this. I spent a lot of time in the Keys in the 80s and 90s, and learned to love to live the Buffett life.

Damn. I saw him play a show in Belize by accident and became an instant fan. That was 20 something years ago. He was a staple in my work playlists ever since. Since then I have been to 5-6 shows on purpose.
