It doesn’t really matter how much it cost. If you own the most lucrative broadcast rights, no matter what that content is, it follows at least in my mind that needs to come packaged with the most cutting edge tech available for the best consumer product. This will drive a trickle down effect eventually resulting in it being less expensive to do it from market demand resulting in more efficient and cheaper alternatives. So it goes even beyond just Disney being cheap and shite.
