Athens is the #1 college town in the county. It’s very special. I should know I’ve been going to games there since I could walk and now have a small second home there. If you don’t like Athens you haven’t been there or there is something seriously wrong with you. It’s a town that was built for good times.

I know what you mean. It’s almost too much good in one town. Did you know that downtown Athens has 80 bars in a one square mile area? Athens has more bars per capita than any other place in the country. And that doesn’t count the huge number of restaurants, shops, condos, hotels and music venues. All just steps from campus. It’s the place to be and the place to party.
