Stacy returning: Former Alabama running back Siran Stacy is expected to serve as honorary captain for Saturday's 2:30 p.m. Iron Bowl against Auburn.

A star player for the Crimson Tide from 1989-91, Stacy is barely a year removed from a fatal and horrific car accident last November. His wife and four of his five children were killed when a pickup truck driven by a drunk driver crossed an intersection and collided with the van carrying Stacy's family.

Stacy was hospitalized with serious injuries. He has since delivered emotional sermons about keeping faith in the face of tragedy.

I hope Siran gets the second biggest cheer of the day Saturday*. Anyone who heard the details of this terrible event can surely appreciate the pain and suffering he has gone through in the last year.

(* I hope the biggest will be Bama fans doing Rammer-Jammer afterwards))

It's sad that many Bama fans will say they feel bad for Stacy and then say they want Stabler back in the booth.

I read about his going to speak in various Churches in Alabama and over here in Florida.

This is a story that crosses all walks of life and beleifs. We can only imagine the pain this man went through.

I Can tell you this as a firm Christian God has his reasons for what happens. God is not mean or vindictive. Siran is now being used by The Lord to get People's attention where he goes.

One final thing then I'll let it go; We Never know when it'll be over for us or those we Love. SO treat everyday as it's your last. We Joke around on here and Gloat etc But Love Everyone anyway.
