Started at -10 and is down to -6.5.

I expect this will be -3 and -4 before the game, especially as it is looking like their 2 best players, QB Cam Rising and TE Brant Kuithe, are likely to be announced out due to ACL injuries suffered last season.

I do think the line is interesting as Florida is not a bad team, but rather a decent team with the hardest schedule in the country. People see the 5.5 game over/under from Vegas and assume it's a bad team, but I think Florida should probably be favored if Cam and Kuithe are out.

Is this at the swamp or neutral? Is Florida really this bad?

The Utah 2nd string QB might be having some injury issues as well.

It's in Utah.

No, it's an assumption made because of UFs terrible schedule. You give UF the same schedule as Georgia and they are a top 25 team.

He lacerated his liver in practice. He'll miss a large portion of the season.

Rising doesn’t strike me as a guy who’s gonna sit this one out tbh

Trying to figure out how your problem somehow lies with Georgia or your potential lack of wins is Georgias fault because of scheduling. You’re the university of Florida and making excuses when dealing with Utah

Interesting. Hadn’t heard this.

The line should move their way after Utah lost its two qbs

All other things being equal sure, UF is not going to be terrible. But, and it’s a huge but, UF’s QB situation is abysmal.
A tOSU transfer, a Wiscy transfer, a mid 3*, a UConn transfer, and a true freshman walkon. And not a guy that inspires confidence in the lot.

Cam Rising out?

I don’t love Graham Mertz in any hostile environment

I think you should figure out how to properly read. I don't have any issue with Georgia' scheduling or their schedule. They planned to play Oklahoma this year, but conference realignment killed it. I simply pointed out that UF is perceived to be a bad team because they are likely to have a bad record, which has more to do with the difficulty of their schedule than the quality of the team (vs #1 Georgia, @ #5 LSU, vs #7 FSU, vs #11 Tennessee, @ #13 Utah).

If they played 2 or 3 top 13 teams, they'd likely be expected to be an 8-4 or 9-3 team. Decent, as I said.

Jack Miller was a 4* Ohio State transfer. Not sure where you get UConn from.

Bro Florida had a losing record with 7 losses last year with a top 10 draft pick at QB. You think they're going to improve replacing him with some scrub from the big 10?

Hint: Being ranked or having an “easier” schedule wouldn’t change Vegas line in this game.

I’ve never heard of a team being ranked in the preseason due to having an easier schedule.

Anthony Richardson was bad to average in most game last year. He was great against Utah, really good against LSU, and was pretty good against FSU.

Much of the time he was dreadful. I would not be surprised if Mertz average was better than Richardson's. Richardson at his best was certainly better than Mertz could hope to be.

However, our defense was absolute garbage last season and we should be fairly good this year. Not top 10 but probably top 30. That will make a huge difference.
