Go watch that season again. We had a bunch of true freshmen playing and replacing first round draft picks. We also lost our all-SEC QB with 4 games left in the season and our backup was a true freshmen. He took that true freshman QB on the road and beat #9 A&M in College Station. Yeah we ended up pissing the games away but we should have beaten FSU and were on the verge of beating Alabama for the third time in a row.

Freeze didn’t ruin us. Bjork and the prudes in Oxford did when they decided to fire him instead of just suspending him for a season. We would be far better off

And I would add we lost our all-American corner at the beginning of the season too, 1st Q against FSU. Our defense would have looked a lot different w/ him out there.
