It is all about TV markets.
Unless the ACC voluntarily dissolves no one is going anywhere, at the present time.

If and when the SEC expands the North Carolina and Virginia TV footprint will be prime expansion territory, no doubt.

From what people say, it isn't anymore. With things going to streaming, it's more about number of views in terms of interest from fans, not a matter of a market you bring that influences how much you charge a cable provider as a network offering the games.

I'm not going to pretend to fully understand the math about adding teams... I just believe that teams won't be added unless the math means that all the existing teams get more money each year by adding a new team.

As things stand right now, I'm of the opinion the only addition from outside the Big 10 that would make SEC teams more money is Notre Dame.
