The Pigs defense is suspect this year, hence the cautious optimism.

The Texas game last year was their 1st OOC game against a power 5 opponent in 5 years. This is also the program that in that same span lost to Colorado State, North Texas, San Jose State, Western Kentucky, and Liberty.
I did bet their over of 6.5 wins
