Facts are facts. That isn’t an indicator of future performance, but it is true Texas has been pretty disappointing over the past decade
Of course, and recruits aren't oblivious to that. However, the sell of being key contributor to a program trying to change its culture is also a pitch that recruits listen to.

Last year Texas had 5 players drafted and LSU had 6 players drafted. Both look to compete in 2023 with multiple 2024 draft picks on their respective rosters. So saying Texas hasn't had as many guys drafted in 2014 like LSU did is not really relevant.

Saying Texas, a&m and Miami have absolutely "nothing to present to a potential recruit besides money" is definitely trolling, sour grapes, ignorance, or just all of the above

It's not trolling, sour grapes, or ignorance.

It's factual.

LSU is clearly the better choice if you want to play for championships and get drafted, and it has been for over 20 years.

That's just a fact.

All of those schools have a ton to offer recruits. A legit chance at a national championship isn’t one of those things though.

The last time Texas had more players drafted than LSU was 2007. LSU has had 25 more players drafted over the last 5 seasons, and 13 more players drafted in the last 3, as Texas managed to not have any players drafted in the 2022 draft.

That's the difference between the programs right now.

When LSU went 5-5, they had 7 guys drafted.
When LSU went 6-7, they had 10 guys drafted.

When Texas went 7-3, they had 5 guys drafted.
When Texas went 5-7, they had 0 guys drafted.

In the context of elite college football programs, over the last decade, Those programs offer very little to a prospective recruit.
