He is a really stupid person. He takes the one place on Earth where he still has some love and respect, and throws them under the bus.
This guy is seriously an idiot.

Can you imagine the train wreck he’d have been in Austin if he was out of control in College Station? Good Lord! Full on junky!
Texas University Police has over a handful of alumni, and fans at the SGT and Lt level. They're big time supporters. He would have been just fine.
Sincerely,
Mack Brown

The funny part is he's opening a bar in CS this Fall. A rehab guy opening a bar ... wow

- Texas never offered him
- Texas offered him as a DB
- Texas offered him a walk-on QB spot
- He grew up a Texas fan
- He has a Texas tattoo
- He said he regrets picking A&M
- He wanted to go to Texas

William Taylor,
Remember the kid is bipolar. Every statement could be true at one time or another. I've heard him say he loved College Station, and then a week later say he couldn't wait to get out of there
I know Texas friends that loathe Mack Brown for offering the kid as a DB.

You gotta love how much this board just can't get enough of Johnny Football. Love him or hate him, his popularity knows no bounds. He basically has not done a damn thing in 10 years but one topic on him goes over 8 pages in 14 hours.
Can you say obsession? Jealous? Envious?
Kayce Smith has a great line about Johnny Football:

1. Johnny did something that nobody had ever seen in college football before. He parlayed being a college quarterback into a level of celebrity that is actually hard to fathom. IN LESS THAN SIX MONTHS.

Eh yeah, that’s a good point.
I actually really like Johnny. One of the most exciting players I’ve ever watched.
And he consistently did my two favorite things in CFB:
- Play bad and lose to LSU
- Embarrass tGumps

I loved watching him play football. I simply shake my head at him off the field, but he was a ton of fun to watch on the field.

The amount of energy and research that aggy and Texas put into embarrassing each other vs putting the energy into winning on the field is staggering.
The amount of time y’all spent apart from each other didn’t help y’all’s obsession with each other.
Absence DOES make the heart grow fonder.

After watching the first bit of the documentary... it was explained that Texas didn't want him.
He didn't get to choose aTm over Texas. His only choice was aTm.

Of those two, yes. He was committed to Oregon before us.

So the hubris to accomplishment ratio is really attributed to aggy posters only. That’s what I thought you’d say.
Got it son.
