Dude, if you trust a Mizzou fan about 1 thing in your life, trust us about this. You do not want kU in this conference. Ya’ll talk shite about our stadium (a lot of it warranted) … have you ever seen kU’s stadium? Ya’ll call us Yankees… one of their favorite insults for Mizzou fans is “slavers.” Just trust us on this one.

Other than that, KU is right there with them in football despite our historically awful stretches, and we dog walk them in basketball
They want to feel special about being in the SEC, and if KU got in their only shred of feeling special would go away

This gets us to be the top basketball conf. Kansas basketball rights are worth a lot. What conf could compete?

We lead you all time in 2 of 3 major sports. It's not close in Baseball, we lead in football in every competitive metric, 7 more conference championships, heads up record, over 100 more all time wins, consensus all Americans, draft picks...literally everything.
As much as the SEC thinks we culturally don't belong, your school definitely doesn't.

Mizzou has won more bowl games than kU has appeared in. Its honestly pathetic that kU fans think talking about a BCS bowl that happened in a year Mizzou beat them and went to the Big 12 championship ahead of them and the only reason they went instead of Mizzou is because they illegally promised to buy whatever tickets they didn’t sell if their allotment. Anybody who marginally followed college football that year knew Mizzou was clearly the better team, yet kU fans love owning themselves with this.
