Rose bowl slot for SEC?

If the Pac-12 dissolves, then what happened to their protected Rose Bowl Slot?

Seems like a natural fit for the best available SEC team.

After next year it will be a permanent playoff sight if I’m not mistaken.

Rose Bowl deal was entered into after WWII to benefit the PAC and B1G

My guess is it will be a B1G / B12 bowl and Sugar will be ACC / SEC bowl

From around 1950 to 1980 the B1G and PAC were the only schools not to cross the picket line when the CFA formed. The SCOTUS decision in the 70's (Oklahoma and Georgia) that broke the NCAA was brought on by 30 years of monopoly of the NCAA by the B1G and PAC.
