This sounds like the end for them.
Offering less at a higher price doesn't seem like it will help gain customers.
I also think that pivoting to video will run people off. I remember when FOX sports and CNNSI did this, and I have not been back to their sites since then- I don't want to wait for their ads to play, only to wait longer for their video to run.
Maybe he is brilliant and I am a fool, but it sure sounds like another case of a new CEO coming in to a struggling company, running into the ground with his bad ideas, then escaping with a hefty severance package.

I don't understand the crazy amount of new construction either- especially with the down town crime and the worsening traffic in the suburbs.
I moved to Frisco in 2010 when it was littered with empty new office/ commercial buildings, and I can't help but think that will return soon

More likely the Saints will go 7-10, miss the playoffs, then trade two future first round picks to move up and draft Jayden Daniels
Rose bowl slot for SEC?

If the Pac-12 dissolves, then what happened to their protected Rose Bowl Slot?
Seems like a natural fit for the best available SEC team.

This reminds me of the Bo Pellini hire. Hopefully they get similar results
re: Who gets this week’s Billy Napier bad coaching decision award?
Posted by FriscoTxTiger76 on 10/2/22 at 12:07 pm to Crimson K
I think the Kiffin decision was more complex due to their kicking issues. by leaving the lead at 3, it leaves then the option of trying a field goal instead of a do-or-die touchdown drive with 4 downs to use- especially when there’s a good chance they’ll miss the tieing field goal.
so my vote would be for Harsin

re: Does adding OU and Texas to the SEC persuade the moving of the SEC baseball Tournament?

“4. I am fine with Arlington or Frisco, TX as part of that rotation. Just do not keep having it at Hoover year after year.”
Frisco will definitely throw buckets of money at the Sec to bid for it.
And the “Tight Ends” near the baseball park will be a perfect spot for sad fans to commiserate after their teams are eliminated

re: MLB moving All Star Game out of Georgia over voting law
Posted by FriscoTxTiger76 on 4/2/21 at 2:53 pm to OMLandshark
I cant see how MLB comes out ahead in this. Their dwindling fan base is much more conservative than the national average. The "outrage" here is from a very small portion of the population, of which I cant imagine very many are baseball fans who would watch the all-star game. In contrast, this decision offends many of the fans who actually would watch or attend the game.
I disagree with the Rangers opening their stadium to full capacity, but at least they are in touch with what most of their fans want (other than a team that can win).
Hopefully the backlash from this will carry over into other areas too.

Agree. I was worried that they might take a more moderate approach to stay in power, but I dont think the radicals will be able to control themselves. Starting with this and impeaching Trump again, they are already sowing the seeds for a red wave at mid-terms.

I thought Bruce Feldman was writing this book, but it doesnt look like this is the case.
I wonder if O blocked him so that he could "write" one on his own and keep all the royalties?

Agree that nothing was given to us. We had one great opportunity, and we maxed out that opportunity with the best LSU season ever (probably).
In contrast, Georgia also had one opportunity, but they came up just short and their potential dream season will always be remembered for 2nd and 26.
At least tonight we can ease our pain replaying the many highlights from last year, knowing how they ended in greatness and victory.

Agreed. And if Bo hadn't been yelling at Boutte during his near TD catch, he wouldnt have bobbled it and we might've won.

Agree- this is a rare situation where the 2 QB system makes sense.
A primary goal for the rest of this season is to develop the qb's for the future. It makes sense to give them both plenty of quality reps, and they likely can learn more watching alternating possessions on the sideline with an assistant pointing out teaching points along the way.

Reminds me of the quote in Rounders- "if you can't identify the sucker at the table within the first 30 minutes, then you are the sucker"
To paraphrase: if he can't see the problems with this team, then he is the problem

You can have Brennan. Hopefully he help Tenn give Bama more of a challenge, then afterwards he can stay in Knoxville and set up a good Louisiana restaurant. Will be win-win all around.
re: Still trying to figure out how this wasn’t called.

Moo State has always been allowed to hold- sort of an unwritten rule that the SEC allows out of pity, in the same vein as allowing their cowbells to be the only artificial noise-makers allowed in the stadiums.
Of course, the holding will be called if it happens against Bama, but that goes without saying.

I agree. Had a nice fight with my wife over this on friday.
The man wanted to be pushed down and injured. He was barely tapped, and he did nothing to try to break his fall. This is essentially a self-inflicted wound.
