I'll admit, I thought 2020 was going to be good. We had Chase and Marshall returning, with Brennan stepping in at QB (upperclassman with a strong arm). Defense was expected to be good, with an NFL secondary. It felt like a reload, not a rebuild

I think they could've been good if Covid doesn't happen and the lazy Pelini hire wasn't made.

Something like 19/22 starters from 2019 were either drafted or sat out 2020. We also lost Brady and Aranda.

Throw in a HC that decided to party all 2020 and it was clear early on we were in trouble.
