They only play other power-5 schools to open season only if they are from the west coast and if they get to play them in ATL.

At least Tennessee used to travel for some real non-con games.
Georgia and Florida never have.

Have you ever heard of Clemson?
We home and home every decade (typically to open the season).
I'm surprised you missed that since you referenced Boise State (the Clemson home and home was more recent than the BSU series).

In the last 20 years, how many times has UF left the state of Florida to play a P5 non-conference game?

Didn't they have a home and home with ND recently? And they play Clemson pretty frequently as well. They had a series with OU and Texas on the books but due to them joining the SEC they got nixed. I also remember a home and home with Colorado back in the 00s I think when Colorado hadn't quote become a joke yet, CU actually won in Boulder and the one in Athens was a 1 point game.
This season's schedule is bad yes, largely due to the SEC making them remove OU on short notice and leaving them unable to replace them with a quality team, and also GT became one of, if not the, worst P5 team in the country recently. Their scheduling isn't as bad as you make it out to be though at least not imo

UGA and Fla are using the excuse that they already play at Ga Tech and at FSU every other year
That's why they don't want to give up more home games
Plus UGA has to play in Jacksonville every year

If you want to dick measure P5 OOC matchups between UGA and LSU/Tenn, I'm more than happy to step up.

Off the top of my head we've played at Colorado, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Clemson, ND. We have series scheduled with Ohio State, UCLA, and FSU

Isn’t Florida playing at Utah this year the first time they’ve played a P5 road game out of state since football started?

UGA was supposed to play OU, but the SEC made UGA scrap that game due to OU coming to the SEC.

It's so weird to see LSU fans downplay FSU on here considering their awful record in football against the Noles. And they forced FSU to come to Baton Rouge SIX times before finally playing in Tally.
