And Monken had a QB with lots of experience. Surely you expect some drop off
Sure. We won a national championship without lots of experience in 2021.
The offense got better with more experience in 2022.
I think Dawg fans would be more than fine with a national championship in 2023 with an offense closer to 2021.

Coordinator hires obviously are the most important off the field decision that a head coach can make.
After 2019 Kirby was at a crossroads. Would he be the new Mark Richt and just tease the shite out of Georgia fans some more, or would he be the coach that finally broke through?
To his credit Kirby told James Coley to hit the road, which wasn't easy because Coley was the ace recruiter, and Kirby did his research and hired Todd Monken, which turned out great.
PPG can be a misleading stat. The more your defense sucks, the less likely you are just hand the ball off the entire second half and play the backups like we did against LSU in the SECCG. In terms of "first half points per game" I'd imagine that Georgia led the country last season or at least they were top 5.
