SEC is thinking ahead:
1. There will be so much anticipation next summer, to the new teams being a month or so away from playing in SEC. Its a no brainer to put the media days in that region and take advantage of all the extra press.
2. SEC is going into B12 territory and pissing in their Wheaties. After the cluster that was B12 media days last week and all the butt hurt from them - having the SEC media days right in the same metro is basically flipping a middle finger to B12. This is basically establishing it as SEC territory going forward. They are smart to do this.
3. Frisco is a nice area and good choice.

Plus, if it's in Frisco, we can make a game out of placing bets on which coach will get the pork chop at Perrys for lunch, and then look to see who is dozing off with meat sweats in the afternoon.

You beat me to this, and it is spot on. I love it, because Dallas/Ft Worth is OU's back yard.
