Cortez had a 4.91 era in 2022 and a 7.34 era in 2023.

I hope A&M's new pitching coach can get more out of him than Yeskie did.

Sounds like a change of scenery to a successful program would do him some good.

Yeskie has a proven track record as a coach, there are times its not the coach but the player, no matter what you do they just can't put it together...

It’s amazing what going to a successful program can do to a kid and player.
